Apple tree transplant stress #874109

We transplanted a 7-year-old Honeycrisp Apple tree because the spot it was in was getting too much standing water. The new spot receives 8 hours a day of sun and does not have standing water. Two weeks after transplanting, the tree is exhibiting a lot of transplant stress -- the leaves are drooping and there are many brown markings on the leaves (brown spots and brown splotches).
Is it likely that the tree will recover and is there anything we can do to help it?
