I live in Minnetonka with extensive foundation plantings and many trees. I was told that we have termites which is a huge surprise. I did not think termites had migrated this far North. Are termites prevalent?

Termites are not prevalent in Minnesota, but they do exist in small numbers. If you haven't already done so, seek professional help to identify, eliminate and prevent them.
