Crown vetch #874034

Asked June 21, 2024, 9:54 AM EDT

Hi, I have a cottage up in the upper thumb. Between the cottage and the lake there’s a buffer of about 10-15 feet by 75 feet. It is tall grass and snake grass. About four years ago, crown vetch crept in. It’s now taken over several swatches of the buffer. Between Covid and the fact my lawn/handy guy is getting older, I’ve not done anything. Last year, I had a guy come and look at it. Unfortunately, I guess he figured it was more trouble than he wanted to tackle. This year, I contacted a master gardener who said I was out of his area and suggested this site. The crown vetch is now visible, but not in flower. I’m attaching a picture. I would like it eradicated in the most ecologically safe method, as it is right next to the lake. I wonder if anyone is interested. Thanks.
