This low-growing weed is flourishing in locally sourced tall fescue sod for second year. Have not been able to accurately identify or mechanically control. Can you please identify and recommend treatment?

Please call our local livestock agent Alex Kissinger,<personal data hidden>.
Ask him to to come out for a site visit or you can bring a sample to the office for identification.
If you decide to bring a sample in, make sure you get the roots as well and hopefully a bloom. I see what looks like a yellow bloom.
Put a damp paper towel in a ziplock bag. Make sure you put your contact info with the sample in case he is not there.
He is out of town Wed - Friday this week.
