Native Windbreaks #873858

Asked June 19, 2024, 8:53 PM EDT

Are there any trees or shrubs that can function as a windbreak that you recommend to someone who lives in a suburb? I recently moved to a 1/4 acre property in a 20 year old neighborhood converted from depleted farm land. There are barely any trees to help.

Hello,

I've attached a link to the USDA recommended trees to be used as a field wind break.  I've also attached more information on my favorite, Northern White Cedar.  Hope this info helps.
