Mildew, mold, or fungus on camellias #873809

Can you tell me what this is on my camellias? And how to get rid of it? Thanks.

I’m so sorry but I am in Wake co and am supposed to only answer questions from here. Mecklenberg county has a good master gardener program and they should be easy to find online. That said camellia scale is common and most easily treated with a systemic insecticide.
