Treating Bacterial spot on frost peach tree #873654

I planted a Frost peach tree in early spring and it flowered and there are some fruits developing. However I started to notice some red, yellow and brown leaves and upon further inspection there are holes in the leaves. I looked it up and I think it is bacterial spot. This variety is somewhat resistant. I’m not sure how or if to treat it now in the growing season? I don’t see any of the spots on the fruit at this point. I would appreciate any advice about this and overall about caring for this tree. Many thanks!!

Hi Sarah and thanks for your question and pictures of your peach tree. It may have several problems, as peaches are difficult to grow in the Willamette Valley without a rigorous spraying program. I'll attach a couple of websites for you to browse and see what you might want to do. If this is too much to sift through, cut off and destroy the dead twigs, keep all leaves and fallen fruit picked up and figure out a spray schedule for next year (see the last site listed).

Sorry this is so complicated... peaches are just that much trouble!
