Hello - I have a patch of hellebore that is now spreading into the woodland that it borders. I don't see hellebore on the invasive plant list, but should I worry about this spreading? I used to think that the lack of sunlight would stop the spread but that doesn't seem to be the case. If that is true and it will continue to spread, I will pull it out. I don't want to crowd out all the native plants. In addition I have a lot of wineberry that continues to spread along the woods/lawn border. I'd like to get rid of some of it but even if I dig it out it just comes back. Is the only solution chemicals? thank you for your help!

We wouldn't worry about the Hellebore unless you see it moving quickly- it does not show up as a problem on the Maryland Biodiversity Project website. Just keep an eye on it.
Wineberry on the other hand, is a problematic invasive. Here is our page on it:
https://extension.umd.edu/resource/wineberry/
This page from the MBP website shows that it has spread widely in Maryland to all but 2 counties:

You have to keep digging it out or use an herbicide- the details of which are in the first link above.
