I have been growing my hops on a backyard trellis for 18 years. Last year they developed a problem and it is back this year. Please give me guidance on what it is and how I might treat.

Hi Kate,
Thank you for the photos. I'm wondering if this might be leafhopper damage. Do you notice any small insects flying off the leaves when touching the leaves? I would be able to better assess this with a sample - clipping some leaves and immediately putting them into ziplock to capture any insects that might be on them.
