I now have 3 'HARDY HIBISCUS" plants in my garden. Can I prune them at some point to keep them from getting leggy? I have been staking my original one. How can I keep them bushy not leggy?

To make them bushy rather than leggy they can be pruned in early spring or pinched back before the Fourth of July.
