Replacement of Trees #873337

We have to remove several dead trees from our home due to disease and lightning damage. What would you recommend we replace it with in our front yard? Please note we are in the heart of Broken Arrow, so need something that will survive in an urban environment. Regards, Angelic Armstrong

Without knowing more about your site - space, exposures, soil, etc., it is difficult to recommend anything in particular. However, we have a couple fact sheets that provide a list of trees suitable for Oklahoma. You can browse the lists and if you find something that interest you, you can do further research on it. You can also contact the Tulsa County OSU Extension Center for assistance.
