What is eating my dahlias and how can I rectify? Thank you

Hi, 

It could be a number of things, but most likely this looks like slug damage. You can go out at night with a flash light to see if you notice them. We have some management tips on our Snails and Slugs on Flowers webpage. You can try to trap them or deter them with the information on there.
