Just found this invasive beetle in Oxon Hill #873203

Hi, I just found Anomala orientalis on my patio. Not sure if it’s ever been identified in Maryland. Just wanted to let you know.

Thank you for the notification, though we are not tracking this species. It's actually been observed in the U.S. for about 100 years at this point. While it is invasive, but has been established in the Maryland area for some time and no eradication efforts are needed since it would not remove the local population as a whole anyway.
