Hello, I’m wondering if the spiders pictured are black widows. The first two photos were taken last year from the underside of our lawn mower. The third photo was from yesterday after my husband cleaned some brush. We are concerned about this because we have children. Thank you very much for your help!

This is in fact a black widow spider. While uncommon, they are native to Michigan. They are not a naturally aggressive spider, and I would recommend exercising caution around that area.
