Expert Response

Hi Carla,

The best way to deal with insects invading the home is to prevent their entry. These entry points are often the gaps along doorways/windows/vents. Sealing these with caulk is an effective long term solution.

Individuals already in the home can be hand removed, vacuumed up, or caught with glue boards.

Insecticides are not recommended for insects invading the home.

If you send a picture of these insects, I might be able to recommend more specific control measures.
