Wild violets in lawn - help please #873157

I have a small yard in SW Minneapolis. My entire yard is infested with wild violets. I see how easily they’ll spread to neighbors and want to control them. I believe I also have a grub problem. I’m willing to use a plastic tarp to kill and sanitize my turf. Will this work? What else can I do to refresh my lawn or even start over with healthy soil? Thanks! Paige

My best suggestion would be to have a lawn service out.  You have two issues that need help.  The violets are hard to get rid of and a professional would be able to get them.  They also can tell what kind of grubs you have and can take care of them also.  Maybe treating this year would get rid of the. For years to come.
