I'm not very savvy at 'uploading', but if you provide an email I can send a photo.

Hi Gerald -
I really could use a photo that shows your problem. Can you take a photo on your phone? Then go to your browser (Chrome, Safari, etc) and search for "MSU Ask extension". When you get to the screen it will ask you to browse to find the photo. I think you will be able to find it from there, and send it. Let me know if you have problems.

Thanks. I'll do my best.
Not having great success, so I will send an email with the photo and note the question # to help it be identified.
Thanks. I'll do my best.
Okay! I hope it gets to me, but it might be someone else.
Good luck with the Juniper!

I haven't answered, and I don't have a photo so I can answer. I don't know what to tell you.
Photos were sent, and apparently received 2 weeks ago. I will resend under a second email.
Hello Gerald.
I still don't have a photo. If it is, indeed, attached to your white pine, there isn't much you can do except prune it out. Is it possible that it's an offshoot of the white pine itself?
You could try rooting the juniper (since I doubt it has any roots), which is done like this:

This is about the best I can do without seeing a photo. I sure hope this helps.
