Wilting kale #873070

Asked June 14, 2024, 8:33 AM EDT

I direct seeded kale in a raised bed, it started growing well but now the seedlings are dying one by one. I don't think it would be lack of water because the tatsoi that is in the same bed is thriving. There are rabbits around but I don't think it is them because I can see the shriveled leaves still intact on the kale plants. There are ants that are making ant hills around the stalks of the plants, this I have never seen before. Thanks for your help!

It may be a drainage problem.  Here is a link to growing kale.  https://extension.umn.edu/vegetables/growing-collards-and-kale
