Native plant and grasses suggestions for recently re-dug pond #872952

Hello.
Our pond was just re-dug - it is now about 100'x75', and about 8 feet deep. the banks are sloped on the west and southwest sides, and steeper, or less sloped, on the rest of the perimeter. In the picture files below, the overflow is on the east side. The white outbuilding is to the southwest. And the two large white pines are to the South.
I am looking for suggestions for native plants and grasses for the shallowest water, the sloped banks, and the area to the South of the pond (in that area, the brush will be removed and the terrain leveled out in preparation for planting/seeding. I have planted a small amount of hardstem tule, softstem bulrush, and green arrow arum.
I would appreciate any suggestions and guidance you could offer.
Thanks!

John,
Thank you for contacting Michigan State University Extension Ask Extension with your pond management question. I have attached some resources that will help you to make decisions with managing your pond. I also highly recommend visiting the Michigan Natural Shoreline Partnership website for plant lists and shoreline landscaping tips. https://www.shorelinepartnership.org/ It says lakes but one only need to scale it down for ponds.
