Identifying shrub #872934

Asked June 13, 2024, 11:44 AM EDT

Good morning!

There is a beautiful shrub in our neighborhood that I have not been able to identify. Wonderfully fragrant, white flowers, and I was thinking it might be a crepe myrtle but the flowers don't seem to fit. Lots of shaggy bark on multiple slim trunks.

Are you able to identify this shrub?

Thanks!
