Asked June 13, 2024, 7:06 AM EDT

I would like to take an online food preservation course. The course is asking for a code to enroll. How do I go about getting access so that I can learn to can and prepare for any upcoming disasters? Thank you for your assistance!

Hi Daneane,

Thanks for your interest! OSU Extension Service does not currently have a fully online home food preservation course, so I am not able to help you with the code you request. Can you tell me the name of the course you are trying to enroll in so I can try to point you the right way?

Best,

Jared

Hello Jared,

This course includes lessons on preserving food by drying, freezing, pressure canning, and water bath canning various different foods.

Hello Daneane,

Thanks for sending the screenshot. It appears this course is offered by educators at North Dakota State University. I would recommend reaching out to the instructors directly to inquire if they are offering the course this year. I searched for their contact info and found this email address: <personal data hidden>
