Hello, thanks for your help. We live near the Groton - Ledyard border. This hole appeared in our front yard sometime in the last week with another similar one appearing about 30 feet away, also in the lawn. There is just lawn in the area of each hole, no garden or brush or fences, just out in the open. Last week we saw what we thought was a woodchuck in our back yard, during the day, but we're not sure. We'd never seen such an animal here before.
