Oak tree sprouts or poison #872804
Asked June 12, 2024, 1:26 PM EDT
Please see photos and identify the sprouts or weeds. In one photo, you can see the shed. Behind the shed is a large oak tree that dropped many acorns this past year into my yard. I didn't clean them up, so I'm hoping these are sprouts. But obviously, I'm concerned about poison.
Also, how do you recommend that I control these?
Thank you!

We can't see a shed in any of the three photos we received, but all the plants pictured do look like oak tree seedlings. We don't understand what you mean by "concerned about poison"...are you referring to being able to identify Poison Ivy? Or to using herbicide to remove the oak seedlings? (Which is not needed, as they should pull up fairly easily, or mowing will kill them after one or two mowings.)
