Hello Sid,
Unfortunately we can't see enough structural detail on the plant in the photos. Are you able to take more pictures (ideally each file at least 1MB in size, so we can zoom-in)? How the leaves attach to the stem, the overall growth habit, and a pulled-up example of its root structure can all help narrow-down likely candidates. Once mown one or more times, weeds can be much harder to ID, and since flowers can be key to plant ID, a non-blooming plant can be hard to nail down. However, if you're able to send more images, we'll see if we can provide an educated guess.
