Thank you for contacting the Boulder County Master Gardeners. The best way for us to identify your tree is if you can bring us in a sample small branch with leaves. It would be helpful to know if this tree has ever flowered and how long it has been in place. The extension office is located in the Boulder County Fairgrounds off of Nelson road in Longmont.
