Hello Paula, Thank you for your question regarding radon. Radon is certainly something to be concerned about indoors. However, outdoors, radon is diluted sufficiently that there are few health concerns. Based on your e-mail, I assume you have radon mitigation, but the photo you have does not show a radon discharge pipe. Such discharge pipes, by regulation, must be at roof level. If your radon mitigation is installed properly and is at roof level, there is little concern regarding radon while working in the garden.
