Hi I have an extract botanic company at Venezuela. You do have a beautiful web page. I am about to build my own farm for my own raw material and one of the extract that we used more is calendula. I was seeing your marigold flowers and I want to be sure that these flowers are calendula. Thanks for reading this note. If they are the same could you give a hand picking the best of these marigold for extraction purpose and if you know where to get seeds.
I went to school at Michigan, UofM but graduated at hillsdale college

They are similar but not the same. See https://www.birdsandblooms.com/gardening/flower-gardening/calendula-vs-marigold/#:~:text=Marigolds%20(Tagetes%20spp.)%20have,prefer%20cooler%20weather%20than%20marigolds. for more info.
Yellow or orange varieties of Calendula officinalis are the most commonly used. Calendulas don't like hot temperatures.
