Baltimore County Maryland

Expert Response

The damage is hard to see clearly in the photos, but we can't quite tell if it was due to insect feeding or a minor leaf spot disease. In either case, any insect culprit is probably already gone (you can look on the leaf undersides or after dark, in case they hide during the day) and no treatment is needed. If it is an infection, you can clip off the more heavily-damaged leaves, but not other action is needed. Otherwise, it does not resemble the typical ailments of pepper plants that we list in our Growing Peppers in a Home Garden page.
