Do you have a recommendation for a soil test kit that I can purchase and use at home? I am aware of the UMN soil testing lab program but was looking for something I can do myself.

Hi Kallie,
I'm sorry, but, if you really want a test you can trust than you need it done from an actual lab. I think the UMN's soil test is cheeper than a lot of other states. Here is a link to the University of Wisconsins soil lab:

It appears that the base fee for the UMN test is a little more expensive starting at $20.00
