Is this a blister beetle?

It can be really difficult to identify insect based solely on photographs. I cannot see enough detail in your photo to offer an identification. It might help if you could provide some more information about where you found these insects. We usually don't see adult blister beetles until late summer in Michigan and I would be surprised if you were finding them now.
