Thank you for reaching out. I recently learned that Lambient is no longer registered for agricultural use in Oregon, so we can no longer recommend it. I'm not sure about the Olympus Granular Herbicide, I don't know of any locations off the top of my head, but I would recommend calling your local ag dealer to see if they have it or might know.
Since Lambient is no longer registered, I think your only option is a non-selective herbicide like glyphosate. You could develop a pasture renovation plan and get prepared for this fall, or perhaps most likely, next spring if you haven't had a soil test done and may need to apply nutrients. If you'd like, I'd be happy to set up a site visit with you to look at your pasture and help with a plan. First step would be a soil test if one hasn't been done in the last few years.
Sincerely,

Soil samples can be taken pretty easily on your own, we have some helpful resources or you can hire someone (usually from an ag chemical dealer or ag consultant) to take them for you. It depends on your preference, but I think it is easy to do with a soil probe or even just a shovel as long as you don't include the top most layer with the vegetation.
Here are some handy guides for you:
- Soil Sampling Guide - https://extension.oregonstate.edu/pub/ec-628 - Soil tests are easy to take yourself, and typically people send them off to a lab to be tested.
- List of Labs – https://catalog.extension.oregonstate.edu/em8677 I have recommendations once you're ready to send them
- Interpreting Results - https://catalog.extension.oregonstate.edu/ec1478 - You can give me a call, and I can go over them with you.
1. In the late spring or early summer once annual weeds have germinated, apply non-selective herbicide to kill existing vegetation. Cultivate/till/disc/plow soil and leave exposed to allow for more weed seed germination. This works best if there is still some soil moisture or some rainfall to aid in seed germination (this could be difficult now, will need to check the forecast). Cultivate as needed throughout the summer until ready to prepare a seedbed and replant. (a summer cover crop is also an option for this scenario if you can get it planted in time to get the biomass that might help smother resprouting weeds- this works best for irrigated land so that the cover crop really takes off) If lime is going to be added, this can be done at any time in the process but is best if done before the last cultivation so it can be worked into the soil. Some people like to apply it before the ground is worked up the first so they can drive over solid soil instead of worked up ground.
2. Kill out existing vegetation with herbicide, spring or fall, work up the soil, plant a winter cover crop. Lime could be applied at this time too. Let livestock graze the cover crop or disc under in the spring for green manure and soil building. Kill weeds as needed through the summer, and prepare for planting in the fall.
Once you have your soil results we will know exactly what your soil needs to build up nutrients in your soil or adjust the pH before you invest in new seeds and such. Might as well get all your soil work done around the same time!
