Holes in Lawn #872476

Im wondering what is the cause of my lawn having small holes (like squirrels digging their nuts in for the winter! I have it all over my lawn ! I will send a picture! Thank you so much for your help ! Monica Bauer I live on a lake

I noticed also that there is a small hole in the middle of each bare patch! The hole is very small like a worm but I dig one up and couldn’t find anything underneath the ground!

Most likely skunks or raccoons digging grubs. Very common this time of the year. They are active at night so we don't see them. Here is a link for more information. https://extension.umn.edu/news/white-grub-control-lawns
