We did a small (apx 10 acres) clear cut last fall and have gotten varying advice on replanting. I have seedlings ordered for this winter but would appreciate recommendations on site preparation. Specifically, I'd like to know the best chemical for prespray and timing to apply it. We will be burning the slash piles in late October or early November. This is the first clear cut we've done and never replanted. We actually would like to incorporate some agroforestry components but that will be an evolving process. Right now, it's about getting the seedlings in to reestablish the stand.
