A neighbor mentioned that you have a program of sending out tree experts to judge the health of trees. I live in Epping Forest, in Annapolis, and am concerned about 2 trees toppling over soon. Maybe they’re not! Did I get correct info?

No, we are not set up to do site visits but we can be helpful with information on your situation.
This page helps people to decide when it may be time to remove a tree:
https://extension.umd.edu/resource/how-do-you-decide-when-remove-tree/
After reading that through, feel free to send us photos of the trees, including the full crown (top) and any information you can about how old the trees are, how they are cared for and a description of what symptoms you are seeing and when you began to see them.
Up to three photos at a time can be attached directly to this reply.
If you think that they are dead and they would threaten people or property if they were to fall it would be best to contact a licensed tree expert to have them removed.
If they are still alive, you could have a tree health expert, known as a certified arborist, come and do an onsite evaluation of all the factors, including structural integrity, and give you their recommendations.
You can find an ISA-certified arborist at the credentialing agency website here:
