Help with Honey Locust Tree #872116
Asked June 07, 2024, 4:39 PM EDT
I have a honey locust tree that appears to be dead. But at closer inspection there are sprouts coming in at the trunk a foot or two up from the base what should we do? Should we attempt to cut the tree off where it appears to be dead, which looks brown, but then fades to green the further down to the ground/trunk you go. We really have nothing to lose. Please let me know if you need more photos.

Thank you for contacting us regarding your Honeylocust. Unfortunately, I agree with your first assessement. Your tree appears to be dead. The one sprout is likely the tree's last gasp at life. :(
