We have four cherry trees - stela, reiner and others - and most of the cherry fruits turn smaller and fall down before ripening. What cases it snd what is the remedy?

Expert Response

Lack of pollination. Stella is self fertile, but still requires the bees to set fruit that will mature. Last year was poor for many fruits because the weather conditions did not favor the timing of the pollinators to the blooms. Hope this year is better. Also, avoid sprays which can harm your pollinators, especially systemic ones.
