Grub control application #872051

Can you tell me when the ideal date to apply grub killer in my area is? The directions say just before the white grub's hatch and to ask your county extension office when that is. I am an Oakland County Master Gardener. Thanks

Good Morning,
Curative , kills active grubs-
Granular trichlorfon 9.3% —Apply in spring or fall to active grubs.
Preventative, prevents grubs later in the season
  • Products containing chlorantraniliprole 0.08%
    Apply between April 1 and May 30 (no later than July 15) for best results.
  • Granular products containing imidacloprid 0.25%
