Good Morning, We are a neighborhood association committed to keeping some of our land natural over the last 75+ years. It appears that the health of this natural area is not as great as it once was. We have also been plagued by high winds knocking a lot of the trees down.
We were wondering if someone could help us continue this commitment and help us improve the quality of this area and identify some trees that may need some TLC.

Expert Response
Hi Kari,
Thank you for considering and being good stewards of the health of the Association's forested land!!
Because MSU Extension does not have forestry staff on the west side of the state, I recommend that you contact the Kent Conservation District for assistance. Between the Conservation District staff and the staff of the Natural Resources Conservation District, they will provide the right person to assist.
If, for some reason, you do not find the right person to assist, please do circle back to me and I'll help you find a forestry professional to provide recommendations.
Thank you!
-Julie
