hello - I'm looking for a climbing plant that grows up a trellis in the shade -- it's not totally dark with shade - there is sun in front of my apple trees and the trellis is behind the trees against my garage -- it is shady there. Looking for a climber to cover the garage wall --- would be nice to have a flowering vine but anything will do that climbs. Thank you

I think you are saying you have dappled shade in the area where you want to plant this vine.
You may want to try Honeysuckle or virgin’s Bower (Clematis). There are a few Clematis that will do well in shaded areas. Donohues’ grows most of the clematis sold locally in Minnesota.
