Thank you for contacting the UVM Master Gardener Helpline with your questions.
Ann, who is the Director of the Plant Diagnostic Clinic, provided the following guidance on your questions.
In order to give an accurate diagnose on the issues you talk about we would need to see pictures. It is good to know what problems you are facing and get a positive ID.
Ann imagines the curly leaf peach disease is peach leaf curl. It is too late to do anything about this now, and fungicides are usually not warranted. You will find more information in this article entitled “Peach Leaf Curl” published by the University of Wisconsin Extension: https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/peach-leaf-curl/
The spot on the plum leaves is probably cherry leafspot. In most cases this is not a severe problem but in rainy years it can cause defoliation. Fungicide sprays should have started a couple of weeks ago. More information about this can be found in this article entitled “Cherry Leaf Spot” published by the University of Minnesota Extension: https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/peach-leaf-curl/
Finally the University of New Hampshire Extension has a factsheet which includes a schedule for spraying home orchards. “Home Fruit Spray Schedule”: https://www.uvm.edu/sites/default/files/Extension-Master-Gardener/homefruitsprayschedule.pdf
Please feel free to follow-up with photographs if you would like us to positively identify your trees problems.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out.
