Burning Bush #871634

Asked June 05, 2024, 12:30 AM EDT

I have a burning bush that died abruptly and completely. I think it was about five years old. I had a former burning bush in that spot that did the same thing at about the same age. Do you have any idea what might have caused it?

Thank you for your question, Dee Dee.  Without photos or a laboratory diagnosis, we can't tell you what the problem is/was.  There is little if any research on this species, because it is considered invasive (and is banned in several states).  https://ipm.missouri.edu/garden/rock_F3.cfm  So, most horticultural experts would think "good riddance".   Sorry we can't be of assistance.
