Rabbits are an annual problem so it is best to invest in rabbit fencing and to enclose your garden. I have had to do this and attach chicken wire to my cyclone fence to keep them out. After adult rabbits were clearing a 4 ft fence I made cylinders large enough for my broccoli and kale plants and my bush beans. They leave tomatoes alone but the squirrels and raccoons will sometimes sample tomatoes. Wildlife can add some challenges.
