Hello! Please tell me what I need to do to discourage rabbits from eating the petunias I just planted in my yard. They're in containers, about a foot off the ground, and chicken wire won't work. Two decades ago, I tried growing tulips (they ate those too) and was told blood meal (?) sprinkled around the soil under the flowers would work, and I think it did - my memory fades after this much time.
I have been planting petunias in the same pots in the same place for more than a decade. Rabbits have never bothered my petunias before. Any ideas? Thanks!!
