hello,
Attached photos are of a spring planted Redhaven Peach tree from a local Conservation District tree sale. The owner says there is " discoloration on the bark and the buds are webbed"? Is this possibly got overwatering? our county has received about 5.5" of rain in the month of May. Thank you for any feedback!

It is difficult for me to tell what the main issue affected the trees is. I would not think overwatering. Could be some damage, possibly cold damage, that the tree sustained prior to planting. I'm sorry I can't help you any more than this. Could send the sample to a clinic for a diagnosis,
