I have a David Viburnum which I planted 3 years ago. In the last month It has developed yellow leaves with black spots on 1/4 of the plant, mostly on the underside. Do you know what could be causing this? Is there a recommended treatment? The same yellow leaves with black spots are appearing on a Girard's Pleasant White Azalea which I also planted 3 years ago. Is the cause contagious? Should I tear out both plants?

Hi Cheryl,
Thank you for using Ask Extension. Pictures would help, but since you said it is affecting a viburnum and an azalea, it might be
Viburnum-Ramorum Leaf Blight and Shoot Dieback | Pacific Northwest Pest Management Handbooks (pnwhandbooks.org)
If you purchased both of these plants from the same nursery, they may have been infected at purchase.
