Hello, I would like advice on the cause and treatment of yellow spots appearing on my lavender p, gladiolus, and daisy plants in my garden. There is no evidence of infestation on my irises that are near by. The lavender plant has curled leaves and does not look healthy, but did bloom. There was a few black with yellow striped winged beetles in the plant, and a few tiny red beetles as well. Wondering if you could give guidance on how to save the lavender, and prevent spread to my other perennials? Thanks

Expert Response
Your plants have an infestation of cucumber beetles. The cucumber beetle can be controlled with Horticultural soap or Neem Oil. Insecticides are another option, using an insecticide registered for use on cucumber beetles. If using an insecticide be sure to read and follow all instructions printed on the label.
