I found three enormous mushrooms in my backyard. The largest one was the size of a tennis ball. Unfortunately, I took the picture after I had extracted them from the ground. Can you tell if they are poisonou?. I have a puppy.

We are not able to identify mushrooms as we don't have a mycologist on staff.
If you are concerned that your puppy will actually eat them it's best to just pick them and/or shovel them onto the trash. (And maybe walk them on a leash for a while in the yard and teach the "leave it" command)
They pop up when conditions are just right- when it's been wet and humid.
You could also check with your vet for their suggestions.
