Is there anything to be done for maple trees that has vercillium wilt

Maples are highly susceptible to verticillium wilt. There is not fungicide treatment for it. You can prune out the dead and dying branches being sure to sanitize the cutting tool between cuts. This US Forest Service publication gives the details for the wilt.
