Removing Lily of the Valley #870896

I want to remove Lily of the Valley that has inundated the area around my Minneapolis house. I have tried pulling them up but the roots are imbedded. Any suggestions? Thank you! Ed

Hi Ed,

Pulling won't work, you need to dig the plants up. You also could use a herbicide like glyphosate, but be VERY careful using it around other desirable plants like grass, perennials and trees. It kills anything green. If you go that route, read and follow the directions on the label. The label is the law.
