Expert Response

This forum is completely separate from the Arboretum so your question would have to go to them. I have attended several talks about how pests are managed at the Arboretum and they use fencing if they get a lot of critter damage. They don’t use any chemicals. The DNR wildlife control expert recommends Plantskyd as a repellent and promises it will repell rabbits. It does need to reapplied several times a season and after a rain.
